Sniff n Stroll was born from the belief that every dog is unique and deserves care that reflects who they are.

That belief became very real for me when I welcomed my own dog, Trigg, into my life. Trigg is a cocker spaniel with endless energy, a sharp and curious mind, and very minimal survival skills! He quickly became the centre of my world — my shadow, my best friend, and my greatest teacher.

His puppyhood wasn’t easy. There were challenges, frustrations, and plenty of lessons along the way. But it was up to me to give him the tools he needed to thrive in a world built for humans — to help him feel safe, confident, and above all, happy.

I’ve learned that happiness looks different for every dog. Some need to run, some need to think, some need space, and some just need love and patience. That’s the philosophy behind Sniff n Stroll: care that’s tailored to each dog, their needs, and what truly makes them feel good in themselves.

Because every dog deserves to feel confident, comfortable, and content. And every owner deserves the joy of seeing that happiness.

About Me

Throughout my adult life, I’ve always found myself surrounded by dogs, whether that’s been behind the lens, fostering, nursing, or dog sitting.

In 2011, I began working at a Dog Rescue Centre, and it was there that my true passion for all things canine came to life. I gained invaluable experience caring for dogs of every age and background: from playful puppies learning about the world, to seniors navigating health challenges.

Over the years, I’ve also built strong experience handling dogs with more complex needs, including those with dog aggression, handling sensitivities, reactivity, and larger breeds that require confident, calm management. This has given me the tools to understand behaviour, read body language, and adapt my approach to ensure every dog feels safe, secure, and respected.

What I learnt was simple but powerful: every dog is different. Their needs change as they grow, vary from breed to breed, and shift with their environment. That’s why the most important thing we can do is meet each dog as an individual.

Those lessons continue to guide me today. I put the dog first, tailor every service to their unique needs, and make sure their happiness, comfort, and confidence always come before anything else.
